This role involves building the internal legal infrastructure from scratch and advising the executive team on regulatory complexities. The candidate should have a Juris Doctor, substantial experience in legal practice, and knowledge of national security regulations. Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive legal experience; experience in Big Law and in-house at a startup.
• Proven track record in proactive risk identification, especially in product liability.
• Experience in building in-house legal functions and managing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary legal advisor to the CEO and Executive Team.
• Build the legal function from the ground up, including hiring legal talent.
• Oversee contract lifecycle for customer, vendor, and government agreements.
