Job summary

WISEcode Labs, located onsite in Kannapolis, NC, seeks a VP of Operations to lead end-to-end laboratory operations. You will own performance KPIs, scope capacity, and drive a high-throughput, compliant testing organization aligned with customer needs and strategic growth.

The role requires 10+ years in analytical lab leadership, strong budget and process improvement experience, and deep familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 and LIMS systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership in analytical laboratory or high-throughput regulated services.
• Experience owning budgets, margins, staffing, throughput and customer metrics.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025, quality systems, method validation/verification, CAPA, audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end laboratory operations and serve on the executive team.
• Deliver operating performance, capacity, turnaround time, and cost of service KPIs.
• Develop workforce plans, coaching, succession, and organizational structure.
• Integrate customer portal with LIMS/QBench for data provenance and traceability.
• Drive capital planning, maintenance, and contingency plans to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Partner with Sales and Finance to translate demand into an operational plan and budget.
• Scale laboratory operations while preserving scientific integrity and quality.
