Job summary

Our client, a global leader in veterinary diagnostics, seeks a Senior Operations Manager to lead a high-volume laboratory in Greensboro, NC. This senior role oversees multiple shifts, budgets, and performance metrics while driving Lean and Six Sigma initiatives.

You will develop leaders, manage large frontline teams, and partner with senior leadership on strategic growth initiatives. Day 1 benefits and a strong compensation package are offered.

Qualifications

• Senior operations leader with 5+ years of large, high-volume ops experience.
• Proven ability to lead across multiple shifts and manage managers.
• Strong background in budgeting, performance metrics, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations for a high-volume veterinary diagnostic lab.
• Develop managers and supervisors across multiple shifts and departments.
• Establish and track KPIs for quality, productivity, turnaround time, safety, and financials.
• Develop and manage operational budgets and financial objectives.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement programs.
• Identify challenges and implement scalable efficiency solutions.
• Foster accountability, engagement, development, and retention.
• Coach leaders and drive cross-functional collaboration.
• Lead change initiatives and operational projects.
