Job summary

CPI Security Systems, Inc. is seeking a Head of Information Technology to serve as the company’s senior technology executive.

You will establish and execute an enterprise-wide technology strategy that supports growth, scalability, security, and innovation. Based in Charlotte, NC, the role directs all aspects of IT including cybersecurity, software engineering, data analytics, cloud/on-prem infrastructures, and vendor management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems required; Master’s preferred.
• Senior technology executive with partnership experience with CEO/leadership.
• Salesforce and call center technology experience required (Sales, Service, Field Service Lighting, CPQ, Communities, Marketing Cloud and Commerce Cloud).
• Strong experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
• Experience in ERP, billing and payroll systems and implementations.
• Experience in M&A IT integrations and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CEO and executive team to set strategic IT objectives.
• Build and execute IT strategy focusing on cybersecurity, operations, software engineering, and BI/analytics.
• Prioritize IT projects and allocate resources for high-value initiatives.
• Manage IT budget, capex, contracts, and vendor performance.
• Oversee architecture, security, scalability, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Lead modernization of core platforms and integrations to reduce debt and enable change.
• Ensure data governance, security, compliance, and operational support from the start.
