Job summary

Dartmouth College seeks a transformative Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO) in Hanover, NH. The CIO will align information technology with Dartmouth’s academic, research, and business needs, optimizing operations, cybersecurity, and innovation across the institution.

Leading ITC, the CIO will design operating models, develop talent, and digitize processes to support teaching, research, and administration while engaging stakeholders and driving value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years leading IT teams or organizations, including IT operations management, IT strategy development, and driving large-scale transformational change.
• Proven ability to build, lead, and inspire high-performing teams across diverse groups.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Extensive budget, forecasting, and IT financial strategy experience.
• Knowledge of COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001 for IT governance.
