Job summary

AXA XL in the United States seeks a Chief Human Resources Officer, Americas to drive the people strategy for the Americas region. You will lead the regional HR organization, partnering with Global HR and regional leaders to translate global strategy into measurable talent, culture and organizational outcomes across the US, Canada, Bermuda and Latin America.

Qualifications

• Extensive HR leadership experience in a global, matrixed organization.
• Experience in financial services, insurance or similarly regulated industries preferred.
• Proven track record transforming operating models, processes and data use.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the Americas people strategy, aligned with priorities and enterprise HR direction.
• Advise the CEO, Americas and senior leadership on organization design, workforce strategy, succession, leadership effectiveness, culture and complex people decisions.
• Lead an integrated regional HR organization spanning HR Business Partnership and Centers of Expertise with accountability and disciplined resource deployment.
• Modernize the Americas HR operating model by simplifying processes and scaling shared capabilities across countries and units.
• Build and execute a multi-year HR transformation roadmap covering organization, process, data, technology and skills.
• Champion the responsible use of AI, automation and digital employee solutions across the HR lifecycle.
• Strengthen workforce intelligence by integrating HR, skills and business data for planning and risk identification.
• Lead enterprise and regional change initiatives with sponsorship and adoption discipline.
• Embed an inclusive, high-performance culture with accountability for engagement and development.
• Oversee complex employee relations across the Americas with compliant practices and risk management.
• Establish service, experience and outcome metrics for HR and use dashboards to improve quality and speed.
• Operate as an active member of the Global HR Leadership Team and align regional with global priorities.
• Build partnerships with Global HR and regional leaders with clear decision rights.
