Qualifications

• 2 years: High School Diploma or GED plus two years of college or vocational training in electrical or mechanical engineering or plumbing, plus 6 years of related experience.
• Hotel facilities experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and safety mindset required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with staff and supervisor.
• Ensure all fire and safety inspections are completed and discrepancies corrected.
• Oversee safety of department and building.
• administer preventative maintenance program and complete work orders on time.
• Train staff on safety procedures and service guidelines.
• Hire, train, and evaluate maintenance staff where needed.
• Supervise engineering staff in maintaining HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems.
• Obtain pricing and bids from vendors as directed.
