HHM Hotels is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead hotel maintenance, ensuring guest comfort and sustainability standards across the property in the United States.

The role oversees project work, vendor contracts, and a skilled team, while supervising repairs from drywall to electrical fixtures and ensuring life-safety systems stay 100% operational. This position emphasizes brand alignment and safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Leadership and coaching of maintenance staff to meet brand standards.
• Experience managing bids, quotes, and contracts with third-party vendors.
• Overseeing small projects and Property Improvement Plans (PIPs).
• Performing and supervising repairs from sheetrock to painting and fixture replacement.
• Troubleshooting kitchen equipment and maintaining heating/ cooling pumps; installing TVs.
• Maintaining PM records and ensuring life safety systems are 100% operational.
• Coordinating compliance of service contracts with local, state, and federal codes.
• Maintaining exterior of building and curb appeal under EarthView sustainability guidelines.
• Emphasizing safety and guest satisfaction through safe work practices.

Responsibilities
