Job summary

Fourth Floor seeks a strategic SVP of Global Logistics and Distribution Operations to lead and optimize day-to-day logistics, ensuring just-in-time delivery and efficiency across the enterprise. You will work with the CEO and senior leaders to advance operational excellence and profitability.

The role requires deep knowledge of supply chain, logistics, production processes, and budgeting, with demonstrated leadership in complex, global environments within apparel/retail sectors.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of success in a senior operational leadership role within the apparel or retail industry.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management, logistics, and production processes.
• Excellent strategic planning and execution skills.
• Strong financial acumen and budgeting experience.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with international business practices, due to Perry Ellis International's global presence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee customer compliance, Sales Operations, Inbound/outbound logistics, import/exports, Industrial Engineering and all distribution center operations.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
• Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality products and services.
• Collaborate with the CEO and senior management to develop and implement the strategic plan.
• Translate strategic goals into actionable operational plans and initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs to track progress and identify improvement areas.
• Monitor and collaborate with all functions of the supply chain.
• Inventory management is everyone’s job; communicate concerns to management.
• Provide strong leadership and mentorship to operational teams.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Attract, develop, and retain top talent.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve efficiency and drive innovation.
