Job summary
Centric Brands is seeking an experienced Logistics/Carrier Operations Director to lead international carrier (ocean/air/parcel) operations globally for fashion apparel and accessories. This role reports to the VP, Logistics and drives strategic planning, contract negotiations, and team development across the global supply chain.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing international freight, implementing visibility tools, and optimizing transportation networks in a high-volume
Qualifications
- 12+ years of international transportation experience in a fast-paced environment with leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Management or related field
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical, negotiation and KPI-reporting capabilities
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic logistics and carrier initiatives to support growth in a cost-efficient way
- Negotiate ocean/air/parcel contracts and rates with carriers and 3PL/4PL providers
- Direct a global carrier operations program, ensuring timely, accurate data, and payments
- Lead and develop a high-performing logistics team across regions and functions
