Job summary

Foster McKay seeks an experienced Logistics/Carrier Operations Director to own and optimize international carrier operations for our fashion apparel business. This leader will influence strategy, negotiate with carriers, and drive world‑class execution across oceans, air and parcel freight globally.

Reporting to the VP, Logistics, the role requires building durable solutions, guiding a multi‑regional team, and delivering measurable improvements in cost, service, and visibility in a high‑volume

Qualifications

12+ years of international transportation experience in a fast-paced environment, with leadership exposure.
BS/BA degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Management or equivalent.
Strong analytical ability and communication skills to synthesize multiple viewpoints into actionable plans.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement global logistics/carrier strategies to support growth while reducing costs and improving service.
Negotiate ocean/air/parcel contracts and rates, managing carrier relationships and capacity.
Lead a global team of 4+ direct reports, coaching and developing staff for continued growth.
Oversee carrier audits, payments, and KPI dashboards to ensure timely, accurate data and reporting.
Standardize and improve SOPs, playbooks, and processes across regions and providers.
