Venturi Astrolab, Inc. in Hawthorne, CA seeks a seasoned Head of Government Affairs & International Partnerships to lead international government and defense growth strategy.

You will convert non-US space agency and defense relationships into signed agreements, funded studies, and long-term programs, guiding them from first engagement through to program execution. You will interface with international space agencies, DARPA, AFRL, Space Force, and related agencies, coordinating with Growth,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in government affairs, international partnerships, or business development within the space, defense, or aerospace sector.
• Experience building and maintaining relationships with at least two of: DoD space/defense, the intelligence community, international space agencies, OSTP/OMB.
• Experience converting strategic relationships into signed agreements or funded programs with contract values.
• Experience working with government contracting vehicles such as FAR-based contracts, OTAs, Space Act Agreements, and international cooperative agreements.
• Experience applying ITAR/EAR requirements to international engagements and export-controlled information.

Responsabilités

• Originate, qualify, and lead relationships with international space agencies and government customers (ESA, CSA, JAXA, ISRO, KASA, ASI).
• Drive relationships from engagement to signed MOUs to funded studies or services against defined targets.
• Coordinate with Legal on export-control strategy and licensing for international engagements.
• Collaborate with Head of Civil Space to align NASA-led civil space strategies with partner interaction.
