Job summary

Strategic Growth Partners in the United States is seeking a Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) to unify and lead the organization’s business development model across priority units. You will set targets, drive capture, and direct a cross-functional BD team to build a single CRM, pipeline, and proposal process.

You will shape growth strategy with the CGO, manage executive relationships with customers and partners, and report monthly progress to the CGO and client leadership.

Qualifications

• 15+ years federal BD, capture, and proposal experience.
• Experience leading growth for a unit with $100M+ revenue.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set growth targets; build annual growth plan with revenue, pipeline, and win-rate targets.
• Establish portfolio targets for agencies, markets, and contract vehicles.
• Partner with CGO on growth strategy and bring unified BD system to portfolio.
• Run a single CRM, pipeline stages, and bid/no-bid gates across units.
• Lead executive relationships with priority customers, primes, and partners.
• Direct BD team and ensure accountability for growth across units.
• Chair gate reviews for every pursuit and document decisions.
• Standardize capture/proposals with capture plans and pricing reviews.
• Deliver monthly and quarterly BD updates to executives and board.
