Job summary

IAP World Services, an Intrepid Global Solutions company, seeks a Chief Facility Engineer to lead complex engineering assignments across defense facilities. You will develop estimates, schedules, and specifications, while guiding procurement and subcontracting activities.

The role requires managing large projects, mentoring staff, and applying LEAN/ISO processes. A Top Secret SCI clearance with Full Scope Poly is required to support national security programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent field.
• Professional registration/PE license preferred.
• 10 years of managing large scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review estimates and schedules, including manpower forecasts.
• Establish and monitor material quantities and costs, provide forecasts.
• Develop specifications and design criteria.
• Participate in procurement, permitting, and subcontracting.
• Perform calculations, specify equipment, and solve complex engineering problems.
• Mentor staff, develop training materials, and conduct seminars.
