Job summary

Athletics is seeking a Vice President, Facilities in Las Vegas to lead planning, operation, maintenance, and long-term stewardship of the ballpark and facilities. You will ensure safety, efficiency, and readiness for baseball games, concerts, and large-scale events while guiding capital projects and vendor relationships.

The role requires 10+ years in facilities or venue operations, strong leadership, and a track record of managing complex systems and budgets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 10+ years in facilities, engineering, or venue operations.
• Proven leadership managing large-scale sports or entertainment facilities.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Strong background in building systems, preventive maintenance, and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for day-to-day operations of the ballpark facilities.
• Develop and implement facility management strategies for diverse programming.
• Lead readiness across events, ensuring safe, efficient transitions between activities.
• Oversee building systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/safety, and elevators.
• Manage capital improvements, vendor relationships, and contracts.
• Develop and manage operating and capital budgets and long-term plans.
• Establish standards, procedures, and emergency response protocols.
• Mentor and develop facilities team for accountability and continuous improvement.
