Job summary

Insignia Event Services in Glendale, AZ seeks a Director of Operations & Facilities to lead facilities, operations, safety and security in a fast-paced, high-volume event environment, reporting to the VP of Operations.

You will manage budgets, develop policies, oversee third-party vendors, ensure OSHA compliance, and drive efficiency across venues and events, including stadium operations and special events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, sports management, business administration or related field.
• 5–7 years progressive experience in facilities/operations.
• Experience managing full-time, part-time and student staff.
• Strong organizational, management and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide department leadership and development for facilities, operations, safety and security teams.
• Oversee daily operations, event operations, and workflow across facilities.
• Manage facility maintenance, scheduling, inspections, and light construction.
• Develop and implement policies; manage budget and ensure policy compliance.
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party partners for events and security.
