Jobot is seeking a dynamic Chief Estimator for our Ground Up Construction division.

This role drives detailed estimates, budgets, and bid strategy from concept to completion, leading a skilled team of estimators and coordinating with PMs, architects, and engineers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in ground-up construction estimation.
• Proven track record in bidding and winning projects.
• Deep understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with estimation software and related tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee comprehensive project estimates and budgets from ground up.
• Analyze plans and specifications to determine project scope.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors for data gathering.
• Oversee and direct all estimating teams.
• Participate in bid reviews and presentations for profitable bids.
• Mentor and guide the estimating team.
• Stay current with industry trends, costs, and materials.
• Implement and maintain estimation software and databases.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Chief Estimator for our Ground Up Construction division. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our highly skilled team. This position will play a crucial role in the planning and development of our construction projects, from the initial concept through to completion. Our ideal candidate is a self‑motivated, detail‑oriented individual with a strong background in ground up construction and a proven track record of successful project estimation and team leadership.

Responsibilities:

As a Chief Estimator, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties and responsibilities including but not limited to:

1. Developing and overseeing comprehensive, detailed project estimates and budgets from the ground up.
2. Analyzing and interpreting construction plans and project specifications to determine project scope.
3. Coordinating with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to gather all necessary data for accurate estimation.
4. Oversee and direct all estimating teams
5. Participating in bid reviews and presentations to ensure competitive and profitable project bids.
6. Managing and mentoring a team of estimators, providing guidance and support as needed.
7. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and construction materials costs.
8. Implementing and maintaining estimation software and databases for improved accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction estimation, specifically in ground‑up construction.
2. Proven experience in successful bidding and winning construction projects.
3. A deep understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
4. Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills.
5. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Proficiency in estimation software and other related technical tools.
8. A bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
