Job summary

Hunt Companies, Inc. seeks a Director of Environmental and Safety to lead the Safety and Environmental program and ensure company-wide compliance with all applicable laws. You will advise senior leadership, oversee incident tracking, and guide site training and audits across the portfolio.

The role requires strong knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations, incident investigation, and leadership in safety program implementation, with a focus on data-driven improvements and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety preferred.
• 3-5 years property management experience required.
• 4-6 years managing EHS in Construction/Property Management environment required.
• Experience leading behavior-based safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental and safety programs to ensure compliance across the portfolio.
• Act as chief advisor on environmental and safety matters to senior leadership.
• Monitor incidents, perform trend analysis, and prepare quarterly reports.
• Schedule site training and audits with Operations leadership.
• Ensure required training is completed and content stays compliant.
• Develop job hazard analyses for non-routine tasks.
• Perform accident investigations and participate in OSHA/EPA meetings.
• Oversee site inspections and assess environmental hazard controls.
