Job summary

Hunt is seeking a Director of Environmental and Safety to lead the Safety and Environmental Program Managers, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations across projects. The role reports to the Senior Director of Maintenance & Facilities and drives program effectiveness, training, and incident investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety preferred.
• 3–5 years in property management.
• 4–6 years in EHS compliance in construction/property management.
• Experience leading behavior-based safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Advise Senior Director of Maintenance & Facilities on environmental and safety compliance across portfolios.
• Evaluate programs for effectiveness and report findings to leadership.
• Monitor incidents, track trends, and coordinate with Risk Management & HR.
• Create quarterly reports on environmental/ safety metrics and training needs.
• Schedule and conduct site-specific trainings and audits with Operations.
• Ensure required safety and environmental training is completed and content reviewed.
