Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to lead the technical strategy and execution for future Sensor products across Missiles and Fire Control, Rotary and Mission Systems. Collaborate with RF Product Center leaders to identify, mature, and transition capabilities from concept to production, balancing manufacturability, cost, and scalability.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams on complex defense programs.
• Ability to develop technical strategies and architectures for advanced sensor systems.
• Experience supporting proposal development, technology demonstrations, or capture activities.
• Proven ability to transition technology from development to production.
• Experience with reusable product architectures and long-range roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead for future Sensor capabilities not yet aligned to a program of record.
• Develop and maintain the Sensor product technical roadmap and investments.
• Partner with Program Manager to mature capabilities from concept to production.
• Define scalable architectures maximizing reuse across programs.
• Provide technical leadership across PM, Engineering, and Operations.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and set investment priorities.
• Support CRAD/IRAD, proposal, and capture activities with technical strategies.
• Lead cost, schedule, and technical development across organizations.
