Job summary

Residence Inn Morgantown Medical Center Area by Aimbridge Hospitality seeks a Chief Engineer to oversee hotel facilities, keep systems reliable, and manage costs while ensuring guest comfort and safety. You will lead the engineering team, schedule preventive maintenance, and coordinate with vendors to keep operations smooth.

Required are strong supervisory skills, 5+ years of relevant experience, and certifications such as HVAC, boiler/chiller licensing.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Current certifications as required (e.g., HVAC, pool, electrical).
• Licensed to operate/repair boilers and chillers per local laws.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rooms and public spaces to company standards.
• Lead, train, and schedule the engineering team.
• Perform safety inspections and drills to ensure guest safety.
• Respond to maintenance requests and improve guest service scores.
• Patrol grounds and manage Lost and Found.
