Job summary

Double Star Hospitality Morgantown on-site maintenance leadership role seeking a skilled supervisor for hotel engineering. You will oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems, while coordinating vendors and ensuring compliance with building codes.

You will manage preventive maintenance, inspections, and logs, control repair costs, and support sustainability initiatives. Prior supervisory experience in hospitality maintenance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance or hotel engineering with prior supervisory experience.
• High school diploma or GED; trade school or vocational training in a technical field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance staff: hire, train, schedule, and supervise maintenance team.
• Oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems.
• Perform routine property inspections and maintain detailed service logs (preventive maintenance).
• Coordinate third-party contractors and manage property improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes (OSHA, EPA, fire safety).
• Control repair costs, order supplies, and drive energy-efficiency initiatives (budgeting & sustainability).
