Job summary

Double Star Hospitality Morgantown is seeking an experienced maintenance supervisor to lead the maintenance team at our Morgantown property. You will hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff while overseeing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems to ensure peak operation.

The role emphasizes preventative maintenance, vendor management, and adherence to local, state, and federal building codes.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance or hotel engineering with supervisory responsibility.
• Education: high school diploma or GED; trade/vocational training preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Department Leadership: Hire, train, schedule, and supervise maintenance staff.
• Systems Maintenance: Oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems.
• Preventative Maintenance: Run routine property inspections and keep detailed service logs.
• Vendor & Project Management: Coordinate third-party contractors and manage improvement plans.
• Compliance & Safety: Meet building codes (OSHA, EPA, fire safety).
• Budgeting & Sustainability: Control repair costs and drive energy-efficiency initiatives.
