Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Manager, Chief Engineer to ensure uninterrupted operation of a large Tier III data center campus in Phoenix, AZ. You will lead electrical and mechanical specialists, coordinate maintenance and commissioning, and drive reliability and energy-efficiency initiatives.

The candidate should have 10+ years hands-on experience in mission-critical facilities and 2+ years of leadership, with strong technical writing for SOPs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years hands-on maintenance/repair/installation in mission-critical facilities (mechanical and/or electrical).
• 2+ years of leadership/management in mission-critical environments.
• Strong technical writing skills and experience with SOP/EOP/MOP documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the 24/7/365 operation of facility equipment and systems.
• Lead maintenance and service repairs on critical facility infrastructure.
• Develop, update, and train staff on SOP/EOP/MOP procedures.
• Prepare operating and repair budgets; manage procurement within budget.
• Coordinate with engineering and operations directors to ensure reliability and efficiency.
