Job summary

Vantage Data Centers seeks a Lead Critical Facilities Engineer at a Phoenix, AZ data center. You will lead a team of electrical and mechanical engineers, perform maintenance, ensure uptime and safety, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams to deliver best-in-class service.

Responsibilities include developing MOP/SOP/EOPs, monitoring critical systems (UPS, PDU, generators, HVAC), and driving projects to completion while maintaining 100% uptime and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years hands-on maintenance of industrial electrical/mechanical systems in mission-critical facilities.
• Experience with emergency generators, electrical distribution, UPS, PDUs, HVAC and building automation.
• Ability to read blueprints and single-line diagrams; strong technical writing for MOP/SOP/EOP.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of electrical and mechanical CFEs on shift; coordinate tasks across shifts.
• Drive high-level tasks and projects to completion with limited supervision.
• Develop, review, and update MOPs, SOPs and EOPs for critical work.
• Ensure safety, uptime, and compliance; liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Respond to emergencies and adapt workflows to priority changes.
