Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated seeks a Chief Engineer to lead the engineering team in Tucson, AZ, ensuring safe and efficient operation of all building systems. You will supervise technicians, manage maintenance programs, and uphold safety and regulatory standards to protect client assets.

Responsibilities include monitoring HVAC, boilers and pumps, coordinating repairs, maintaining documentation, and implementing CFWA processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience preferred.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 7+ years of facility-related work experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing a staff of technicians.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage HVAC, refrigeration, water cooling, boilers and all ancillary equipment to ensure 100% uptime.
• Oversee repairs and preventive maintenance for HVAC systems and infrastructure.
• Maintain inventory levels and manage purchasing and stock for building operations.
• Supervise engineers and maintenance staff; hire and develop personnel.
• Enforce safety programs and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
