Job summary

Colliers is seeking a Chief Engineer in Tucson, AZ to ensure maintenance systems run efficiently and safely for clients and properties. You will respond to requests, prioritize work orders, and supervise a Building Engineer while conducting inspections and preventative maintenance programs.

You will develop strong relationships with property managers and vendors, manage inventories and reports, and balance multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in building/property maintenance or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of large building HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing and energy management systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Flexibility to be on-call for after-hours or weekend emergencies.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA 10, LEED, IAQ, etc., and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily operating logs for central plant and building systems.
• Ensure tenant service requests are handled efficiently at economical cost.
• Assist in annual budget development and RFP processes for projects.
• Develop and enforce maintenance procedures and quality standards.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors and vendors; evaluate completed work.
