Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) zoekt een Chief Engineer voor Tucson, AZ, verantwoordelijk voor operationeel beheer en dagelijkse leiding van het engineeringteam. Doel is veilige, efficiënte en kosteneffectieve werking van machines en systemen met 100% uptime.

De rol vereist uitgebreide facility ervaring, leiderschap en hands-on onderhoud van HVAC/IT infrastructuur, met focus op veiligheid, naleving en documentatie. On-site werk en diverse voordelen maken deel uit van het pakket.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of facility related work experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing a staff of technicians.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CMMS systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and daily leadership of the engineering team.
• Maintain HVAC, refrigeration, water cooling, boilers and related equipment to 100% uptime.
• Manage inventory of tools and supplies; process purchase orders.
• Oversee contractors and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain infrastructure and compliance documentation; up-to-date drawings and single-lines.
• Coach and develop engineers and maintenance staff.
• Ensure CFWA process is understood and followed.
• Provide training to expand operations staff capabilities.
• Protect and improve client asset value through reliable systems.

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering

High school diploma or GED
