Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Plains is seeking a visionary Chief Development Officer to lead fundraising, donor relations, and grant management. You will build strategies across major gifts, annual campaigns, and capital initiatives, while overseeing a team of development and grant professionals.

The role engages with the CEO, Board, and advisory councils to secure resources, travel to communities, and drive policy-aligned philanthropy in our region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven success in fundraising, including major gifts, annual campaigns, and grant writing.
• Stellar communication and relationship-building with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong leadership abilities and experience managing a high-performing team.
• Willingness to travel and engage with communities frequently.

Responsibilities

• Leadership: guide the Resource Development team and act as a visionary for future fundraising initiatives.
• Fundraising: drive strategies for major gifts, planned giving, corporate partnerships, and annual campaigns.
• Grant Management: identify and pursue grant opportunities while ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
• Administration: report progress to the CEO and Board, manage donor records, and reconcile with Finance.
• Team Management: lead and inspire a team of development and grant professionals.
