Job summary

Wenatchee Valley Humane Society is seeking a Development Coordinator to propel fundraising and donor engagement across our community. Reporting to the Development Director, you will help meet financial goals through donor stewardship, campaigns, events, and behind-the-scenes coordination.

You’ll maintain donor records, support campaigns, and cultivate lasting relationships while coordinating budgets and administration.

Qualifications

• Organized and detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience in nonprofit fundraising or donor engagement is preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate donor records and track donations, pledges, sponsorships, and fundraising revenue.
• Support fundraising campaigns and events, including logistics, materials, invitations, and coordination with internal teams.
• Help identify and engage prospective donors, sponsors, and supporters through research and outreach.
• Create solicitation letters, proposals, acknowledgments, reports, and other fundraising communications.
• Provide timely, personalized donor recognition and help cultivate lasting relationships with supporters.
• Assist with fundraising budgets, expense reconciliation, and other administrative needs that keep development activities running smoothly.
