Diocese of Dallas seeks an experienced Director of Cybersecurity and IT Operations to lead cybersecurity, infrastructure, and service delivery across the Pastoral Center, parishes, and schools. You will establish policies, manage internal staff and external providers, and align technology with diocesan mission.

Responsibilities include risk governance, AI program oversight, disaster recovery, budget management, and cross‑department collaboration.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, cybersecurity or related field.
• 8+ years in IT/cybersecurity with progressive responsibility.
• 5+ years of management or supervisory experience.
• Experience leading enterprise technology operations, budgeting and vendor management.
• Experience in decentralized, multi-site environments preferred.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CRISC, PMP, ITIL or Microsoft 365/Azure preferred.
• English proficiency required; Spanish a plus.

• Develop and execute a cybersecurity and IT operations strategy aligned with diocesan priorities.
• Oversee risk assessments, incident response, governance, and executive reporting.
• Lead AI governance and data protection for AI initiatives across the diocese.
• Manage networks, cloud services, identity management, and core applications.
• Direct disaster recovery, backup and business continuity activities.
• Oversee procurement, vendor management, contracts, and budget for IT and cybersecurity.
• Collaborate with clergy and diocesan entities to support mission and compliance.
