Metric DCX is seeking a Director of Cybersecurity, preferably based in Dallas, TX, to lead security strategy across a growing global footprint. You'll own risk governance, architecture requirements, and incident response while partnering with Infrastructure, Networks, Software, and Data teams.

You should bring 10+ years in cybersecurity and 5+ years leading teams, with data center or critical infrastructure experience.

Metric DCX have partnered with one of the most exciting data center developer / operators in the world, with a rapidly scaling global footprint, and the backing to deliver on it.

They are looking for a Director of Cybersecurity, preferably based out of Dallas, Texas.

This position will be critical in protecting the technology, and the data, behind some of the largest data center campuses in the world.

Day to day, you’ll be reporting to the SVP of Operations and Technology, owning security strategy, risk governance, architecture requirements, and incident response. You’ll set the standard and validate that it’s being met, while Infrastructure, Network, Software and Data implement and operate the controls in their own domains. You’ll also partner closely with Facilities on operational technology security. Expect some travel (10-25%) for site visits, vendor meetings and major deployments.

You will need to have built and led security programs in a complex, always-on environment previously, with 10+ years in cybersecurity and 5+ years leading teams. Data center experience is ideal, but if not, we’ll look at other critical infrastructure or high-availability environments. Exposure to ISO 27001 or SOC 2, OT security, or security integration during acquisitions would be a real advantage.
