Job summary

The Catholic Diocese of Arlington seeks an experienced IT leader to oversee the Office of Information Technology, supporting 400+ staff and 200 volunteers across the CAO, ACH, and CCDA.

You will direct IT operations, security, infrastructure, project delivery, and budget management, with a focus on reliability, risk reduction and staff development within a large enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT or related field.
• 8–10 years of progressively responsible IT experience.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise environments of 400+ users.
• Experience in infrastructure, cybersecurity and help desk management.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day IT operations for the organization.
• Oversee service delivery across infrastructure, cybersecurity, apps, cloud, telecoms and end-user support.
• Lead incident response and service restoration during outages.
• Oversee network, server, storage, cloud, identity management and endpoint environments.
• Ensure uptime, capacity, security and redundancy of enterprise systems.
• Coordinate with vendors, MSSPs and auditors on security and compliance.
• Manage IT projects from planning through implementation and tracking budgets.
• Assist in preparing and managing operating and capital budgets.
