Job summary

TheHiveCareers is seeking a Chief Crypto Officer to lead our cryptocurrency and digital asset strategy, spanning products, partnerships, risk, and governance. You will shape a mature, secure Web3 roadmap, advise the executive team, and align crypto initiatives with business goals.

This role requires extensive experience in fintech and digital assets, a strong regulatory mindset, and the ability to build high‑performing teams and scalable platforms across global markets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in fintech, blockchain, cryptocurrency, digital assets, or technology sectors.
• Proven experience managing crypto products, blockchain platforms, or digital asset operations.
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technologies, and Web3 ecosystems.
• Experience working with regulators and compliance frameworks related to digital assets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organization's cryptocurrency and digital asset strategy.
• Oversee cryptocurrency treasury management and digital asset portfolios; develop custody policies.
• Lead development of crypto-enabled products and partnerships with exchanges, custodians, and fintech providers.
• Ensure AML/KYC, sanctions screening, and governance compliance for crypto operations.
• Mentor executives and technical leaders involved in crypto initiatives.
• Represent the organization in industry forums and with regulators; build strategic partnerships.
