Job summary

Crux AI is building an integrated AI infrastructure platform and seeks a senior leader to own the compute stack—from TPU clusters to orchestration and the customer-facing compute surface. You will architect the platform, hire leaders, and drive reliability and efficiency at scale.

You will partner with Google on TPU roadmap, steer build vs. buy decisions, and lead a multi-layer engineering organization across provisioning, lifecycle, and observability.

Qualifications

• 15+ years building and operating large-scale compute or cloud infrastructure platforms.
• 7+ years leading organizations at senior levels.
• Direct ownership of a production compute platform with reliability and customer outcomes in focus.

Responsibilities

• Define the compute platform strategy and architecture of record for TPU capacity and delivery.
• Architect and deliver full compute lifecycle: onboarding, burn-in, rack cert, handoff, repair, retirement.
• Design and ship managed container orchestration on bare metal with automated control planes.
• Build and lead a multi-layer engineering org across provisioning, orchestration, telemetry, and surface.
• Hire leaders and set cadences; ensure reliability, efficiency and fast iteration.
• Own compute reliability end to end: SLOs, goodput, and failure recovery at scale.
• Partner with Google on TPU hardware/software roadmap and translate needs into Crux priorities.
