Job summary

Crux AI, a U.S.-based integrated AI infrastructure company, seeks a senior technical leader to set the architectural direction for cross-cutting systems. You will own fleet-scale designs that integrate power, TPU clusters, networking, and software, reporting to the CTO and collaborating with engineers and major customers.

You will prototype and proof ideas, raise the bar on architecture, and guide teams through tough challenges while advancing Crux’s AI-forward, agentic approach to design.

Qualifications

• 15+ years designing and building large-scale networked or distributed systems.
• Experience as founder, startup CTO, or technical lead at a hyperscaler, research lab, or infrastructure company.
• Deep expertise in networking, distributed systems, OS, or AI systems with fluency across others.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture of record for cross-cutting systems and multi-tenant designs.
• Drive bets from design to production, including cross-layer integration and fault handling at fleet scale.
• Write the designs and code that matter; prototype, measure, and validate ideas.
• Review architecture across Compute, Networking, Security, and Data Center Engineering.
• Collaborate with Google and customers on workload runs and roadmap alignment.
• Attract and develop engineers and connect Crux to the research community.
