Job summary

Motive Workforce, on behalf of a well-established commercial plumbing contractor in Southern California, seeks a President of Commercial Service Operations to lead and scale the service organization across multiple locations. You will establish structure, accountability, and processes to drive growth, improve profitability, and strengthen field productivity.

Responsibilities

• Own the Service & Repair P&L with accountability for revenue, gross profit, cash flow, customer retention and overall performance
• Lead, develop and hold Branch Managers and other operational leaders accountable for results
• Grow commercial construction service, emergency repair, preventive maintenance, drain and sewer, retrofit and related service revenue
• Build recurring revenue through maintenance agreements, strategic accounts, account penetration and cross-selling
• Establish clear KPIs, operating standards, scorecards and performance expectations across all locations
• Improve technician productivity, dispatch, scheduling, quote conversion, pricing, job costing, gross margin and service delivery
• Evaluate underperforming locations and implement clear improvement plans
• Create consistent, scalable processes across branches while maintaining strong local leadership
• Build a culture where leaders understand their numbers, own their results and follow through
• Develop existing leaders and identify the talent needed to support continued growth
• Strengthen relationships with commercial property managers, owners, facility leaders, developers, GCs and other strategic customers
• Partner with executive leadership on new locations, acquisitions, market expansion and overall service strategy
