Job summary

AXA XL in the United States is seeking a strategic leader to head the Claims Analytics, Americas. You will shape analytics strategy, drive cross‑functional initiatives, and align senior stakeholders to improve claims performance, pricing, and portfolio management.

The role requires deep domain expertise in claims and underwriting, executive presence, and proven capability to lead talent across a regional matrix.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; insurance certifications (AIC, CPCU, ARM) are a plus.
• Extensive experience leading cross-functional analytics in P&C insurance.
• Deep claims expertise influencing underwriting strategy and pricing.
• Executive presence with ability to translate insights for senior leadership.
• Strong leadership and talent development across regions.
• Experience with transformation programs using agile and traditional methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Americas analytics strategy with measurable improvements in claims performance and profitability.
• Lead complex cross-functional analytics, performance, and transformation initiatives.
• Build and lead a high-performing Claims Analytics capability, establishing governance routines and data standards.
• Identify risks, opportunities, and priorities to influence underwriting and portfolio strategy.
• Own the regional performance management framework, KPIs, and monthly reviews.
• Oversee data governance and core data elements with global teams for reliable insights.
• Define and execute the regional AI and tech roadmap with stakeholders.
• Evaluate new technologies and partnerships to strengthen claims outcomes and efficiency.
• Lead change management for new analytics capabilities and processes.
