Job summary

The Building People is seeking an experienced Vice President of Capture to lead our capture operations and business development efforts. This hands-on leadership role focuses on shaping opportunities, building pursuit teams, and driving competitive wins in federal contracting.

Ideal candidates bring 15+ years in BD/capture, a proven track record of large federal wins, and expertise with AI-enabled capture tools, CRM systems, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in business development and capture management for government contracting.
• Proven track record of winning large, complex federal contracts ($50M+).
• APMP certification or equivalent preferred; security clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Lead capture management and business development teams to drive growth.
• Develop and execute enterprise-wide growth strategies aligned with objectives.
• Oversee end-to-end capture planning from identification to proposal submission.
• Lead solution development with cross-functional teams including pricing and operations.
• Build strategic partnerships and engage with federal agency decision-makers.
