Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. seeks a Vice President, Biometrics to lead Biostatistics, programming and data management for the Clinical Development portfolio.

This remote, full-time role partners with Development leaders to deliver data strategies supporting R&D objectives and interaction with health authorities. The leader will drive scientific direction, governance and change across Biometrics, ensuring efficient trial design, submission readiness and data-enabled decision making.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Biometrics or biometrics unit in pharma.
• Experience across multiple therapeutic areas and development phases.
• Line management of a multi-function team with budget oversight.
• Regulatory interactions including Scientific Advice/Advisory Committee.
• Strong stakeholder influence and change leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to Biometrics ensuring scientific and operational excellence.
• Oversee biostatistics, programming and data management pillars.
• Advise on protocols, analysis plans and submission materials.
• Drive clinical data strategy and digital data capture initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders and external authorities.
• Model best practices for engagement and knowledge sharing.
• Finance and resource planning with budgeting oversight.
• Contribute to governance and portfolio prioritization.
• Travel up to 15% as needed.
