Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking a Vice President, Biometrics to lead the Biostatistics, Clinical Programming, and Data Management pillars within the Clinical Development portfolio.

This role partners with Development leaders to optimize data strategy and deliver registrational objectives. The position reports to the VP, Data & Analytics and serves on the D&A Leadership Team, driving scientific excellence, operational delivery, and strategic change across Biometrics and the broader

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Biostatistics or related field required.
• Minimum 15 years of pharma industry experience.
• Minimum 10 years in leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and scientific direction to Biometrics with focus on trial design, analysis plans, and submission reporting.
• Oversee biostatistics, clinical programming and data management pillars and drive integration.
• Lead external scientific interactions and regulatory engagements with health authorities.
• Manage portfolio governance, budgeting, outsourcing, and resourcing for Clinical Development.
• Foster a data-driven culture and develop talent across Biometrics and D&A.
