Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. in the United States is seeking a Vice President, Biometrics to set scientific direction and deliver the Clinical Development portfolio. You will oversee biostatistics, clinical programming and data management and partner with Development leaders to optimize data strategy.

The role leads external and internal collaborations, shapes trial designs, supports regulatory interactions, and drives data-driven decision making across the Biometrics function.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Biostatistics or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of industry experience in pharmaceutical sector.
• Minimum 10 years of leadership responsibilities.
• Experience leading Biometrics or a Biometrics business unit.
• Regulatory in-person interactions (e.g., Scientific Advice, Advisory Committee).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, oversight and technical/scientific direction to Biometrics.
• Oversee biostatistics, clinical programming and data management pillars.
• Drive operational excellence across Clinical Development portfolio.
• Lead governance and strategic direction for D&A portfolio.
• Develop and lead digital approach for clinical data, including mHealth.
