Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a visionary Head of Avionics & Control Products (ACP) to own the technical strategy and leadership for engine avionics and control systems across BE-3U, BE-4, BE-7, and future programs. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in avionics, embedded control systems, or high-reliability electronics.
• Deep technical expertise in propulsion or flight avionics (engine/embedded controllers, sensors, harnessing, real-time control).
• Experience scaling avionics or embedded electronics systems from development to high-volume production.
• Strong executive presence with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Own and communicate the technical vision and long-term roadmap for engine avionics and control products across multiple programs.
• Oversee full lifecycle: requirements, architecture, design, integration, verification, production, and flight/test support.
• Drive cross-program integration and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing for producibility at scale.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing organization of engineers and technical leaders.
• Balance innovation with reliability and drive improvements in cost, schedule, and performance across programs.
