Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals Inc is seeking an Executive Director, Biotherapeutics DMPK-BA to lead strategy for protein, antibody, ADC, and cell/gene therapies. Based in Boston, you will oversee DMPK-BA across Boston and Seattle and align with Global DMPK leadership.

You will integrate PK, bioanalysis, ADME and translational PKPD to inform dose selection and program decisions, while building cross-functional partnerships.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of industry experience at management level in DMPK-BA
• Experience with multiple biotherapeutic modalities (protein, antibody, ADC, cell/gene therapies)
• Excellent communication and cross-site collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Develop vision, strategy, and capabilities for Biotherapeutics DMPK-BA across Boston and Seattle
• Integrate PK, ADME, bioanalysis, and translational PKPD data to support dose selection and program decisions
• Provide clear communication of findings and recommendations to senior leadership and governance bodies
• Build and maintain strong collaborations with Biology, Preclinical Safety, Clinical Pharmacology, CMC, and other R&D disciplines
• Hire, develop, and retain high-performing DMPK-BA talent and manage cross-site resources
