Job summary

G-P is seeking a Sr. Director & Head of Architecture to define and execute the long-term technical strategy for global products and AI platforms. You will lead a high-performing architecture team, align with Product Management and Engineering, and shape platform decisions across the company.

You will oversee cloud-native evolution, ensure scalable, secure architecture, and drive AI-enabled capabilities, balancing technical excellence with business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering and architecture experience with at least 5 years in senior leadership managing Architecture teams.
• Proven track record designing and deploying distributed, cloud-native architectures, especially AWS.
• Experience building AI native products and technologies.
• Ability to gain buy-in for large-scale technical shifts from executives and hands-on teams.
• Experience leading architectural digital transformations in fast-growing or unstructured environments.
• Ability to analyze technology trade-offs through Total Cost of Ownership and ROI.

Responsibilities

• Define and influence the execution of a target-state, AI-native architecture supporting core services and AI agentic behaviors.
• Establish global architecture standards and ensure reuse across platform components.
• Oversee AI systems design, AI enablement strategies, data engineering, and governance controls.
• Understand customers and business to guide strategic decisions and outcomes.
• Lead, scale, and mentor a multidisciplinary team of architects.
• Define security standards and governance for software platforms and infrastructure.
• Coach and make decisions on technical trade-offs with teams and stakeholders.
• Champion new technologies, 3rd-party integrations, and open-source solutions.
• Ensure reliability, performance, and low outages as key success metrics.
• Foster a culture of innovation and technical excellence across the organization.
