Job summary

G-P, a remote-first Global Employment Platform, seeks a Sr. Director & Head of Architecture to define and execute the long-term technical strategy for global products and AI platforms.

You will oversee a team of architects, shaping cloud-native systems and AI capabilities, in close collaboration with Product Management and Engineering. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will drive architectural governance, scalability, security, and data governance, while fostering a culture of

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering and architecture experience, with 5+ years in senior leadership.
• Cloud-native distributed architectures, especially AWS.
• Experience building AI-native products and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the target-state AI-native architecture.
• Set global standards for architecture consistency and reuse.
• Oversee AI data engineering, governance, and integrations.
• Lead, mentor and scale a multidisciplinary architecture team.
• Ensure security, reliability, and low latency across platforms.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to align tech decisions with business goals.
• Champion innovation and evaluation of new technologies and open-source solutions.
• Translate technical trade-offs into business impact.
