Job summary

Legion Technologies is seeking a Chief Architect to lead the architectural foundation of the AI-driven Workforce Management platform. This role demands hands-on leadership, deep systems thinking, and the ability to drive complex architectural decisions across AI, data, and distributed systems.

The Chief Architect will own platform-wide architecture, shape long-term technical strategy, and collaborate with product leadership to deliver scalable, secure production systems for enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience building and scaling large-scale software systems.
• Prior experience as a Chief Architect or equivalent senior technical leadership role.
• Deep hands-on experience with distributed systems, cloud-native architecture, data platforms, APIs, event-driven systems, platform engineering, and high-availability production environments.
• Ability to engage with senior engineers and translate product goals into executable architectures.
• Experience building AI-native capabilities or data-intensive products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Personally drive hands-on architecture and technical decision-making across AI, optimization, and data infrastructure.
• Define long-term platform architecture for AI-driven Workforce Management and enterprise-scale operations.
• Lead architecture reviews, design docs, and engineering collaboration to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Mentor senior engineers and elevate technical craftsmanship across teams.
• Balance tradeoffs between correctness, simplicity, speed, and maintainability in high-stakes decisions.
