Job summary

Theron Solutions seeks a Head of AI to unify AI engineering, enterprise software, and client value creation across multiple verticals. The role demands strategic leadership, architectural oversight, and a strong business acumen to translate client problems into scalable AI solutions.

You will shape the AI practice roadmap, mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers and data scientists, and drive security and compliance across client engagements while partnering with offshore counterparts.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive technology experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior engineering leadership role (e.g., Head of AI).
• Proven experience architecting and delivering enterprise-scale AI/ML or data solutions.
• Deep expertise with one major cloud platform (AWS or GCP).
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams of 30+ engineers, data engineers, and data scientists.

Responsibilities

• Own strategic roadmap for the AI practice across all verticals.
• Lead design and delivery of agentic AI solutions and LLM-powered workflows.
• Define and enforce cloud-native, microservices, lakehouse architectures.
• Build reusable accelerators, reference architectures, and IP assets.
• Operate security standards, governance, and compliance like SOC 2 / GDPR.
