Job summary

Indiana University Foundation seeks an Executive Director of Development for the Paul H. O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs.

The role leads a comprehensive advancement program across two IU campuses, directing major gifts, annual giving, and donor relations to advance IU and its communities. You will report to the Associate Vice President of Development with a dual line to the Dean, steering fundraising campaigns, building authentic relationships, and coordinating with school

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of fundraising experience in a complex organization.
• Experience supervising development staff and collaborating with academic leaders.
• Proven track record in major gift development and donor cultivation.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for a comprehensive advancement program across two IU campuses.
• Lead major and principal gifts, annual giving, corporate and foundation relations, and donor stewardship.
• Collaborate with Dean, campus leaders, and faculty to align fundraising with school priorities.
• Drive a campaign momentum within IU’s Never Daunted initiative and measure performance.
