Job summary

United Vein & Vascular Centers is seeking a Clinical Director of Advanced Practice Providers to lead APP education, onboarding, and workforce planning across the enterprise. You will partner with physician leadership to optimize care models and drive improvements in access, quality, and efficiency.

The role requires demonstrating expert NP clinical experience, leadership in education, and strong skills in mentoring providers.

Qualifications

• Active NP license with ability to obtain multi-state licensure.
• National NP certification, DEA registration, and BLS.
• 7+ years NP clinical experience.
• 3+ years leadership in provider education or clinical operations.
• Experience developing onboarding, competency validation, and education programs.
• Strong knowledge of E/M documentation and evidence-based practice.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing Advanced Practice Providers.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise strategy for APP practice, education, professional development, and workforce planning.
• Partner with physician leadership to optimize care models that improve access, quality, and provider efficiency.
• Design and oversee onboarding, orientation, competency validation, and continuing education programs.
• Develop standardized clinical pathways, practice guidelines, and evidence-based care resources.
• Build and mentor an enterprise APP Lead program that supports provider growth across all markets.
• Monitor quality, productivity, documentation, and patient outcome metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Coach providers using performance data and partner with leadership on peer review and development.
• Represent APP leadership on enterprise initiatives and uphold UVVC Core Values.
